Used Adrian at Active for a CCTV install at my new self storage site. Great comms all the way through. Very clean and neat set up of the equipment by Matt and Andy who were also top lads, they assembled the box and other equipment to the wall which made the job really neat and removed the need for a table or shelf.External and internal cables were all installed neatly, cameras positioned well and all work was completed in a day. Adrian and his team were fantastic from start to finish! Adrian came to the premises the day after the initial contact, The day Adrian came to quote us he was very thorough and listened to everything we wanted, quote was very well detailed and included everything we needed to know! Once we agreed for the job to go ahead Adrian managed to get us fitted in for the install within a couple of weeks, it was a big job with 16 new cameras to be installed and new wiring to replace our current system. The day of the install the team were very efficient, left no mess, they did not stop to get the job done! Would recommended for anyone looking to have new system fitted or upgrading there current! Called Adrian a Couple of weeks back and he told me that he could send someone out Beginning of September but as he was so nice and polite on the phone, even giving me some quick advice that might work for my cameras. This I found to be a great level of customer service and support and so I decided to wait and sure enough on the 1st September Adrian text me to confirm the appointment.Matt and his colleague (sorry didn’t get a name) came out this morning and they sorted everything out properly. I showed Matt the cables which were all tangled behind the unit, to which he did say this is a challenge but he wanted to crack on with it and he surely did! He said he had to do it properly. We had 5 sites kitted out with Hik-vision CCTV systems at a competitive rate.Not 24hrs after the system was installed our largest site was broken into. Having contacted Adrian on a Saturday morning (was surprised he answered) to discuss our CCTV requirements he responded with a visit to the bakery the following Tuesday to go over the project. I was given a quote and an installation date by the end of the week which I was happy to accept. The two engineers who turned up were smart and professional and completed the job to a very high standard. I contacted this firm to ask for a quote.I was informed that I would be contacted by the owners son who would be doing the work “At the weekend in his own time” and because “You wouldn’t be able to reclaim the VAT”.I received a text at 6am last Monday from the person who would have been doing the work enquiring had I received the quote.The text woke me up.I was not impressed to receive at text at that time.The response was an apology and that“My working day began three hours ago”I was unimpressed and I’ve contacted the owner of the firm to explain why I won’t be engaging them.His response was “maybe we’ve dodged a bullet then”.What a poor unbusinesslike response.Take your business elsewhere.

Just had my system fitted by Active CCTV and Surveillance, I couldn't be happier!I did a lot of research for pricing and quality of product, they came out on top by a long way.The survey was very professional, and fitting was quick, clean and fuss free. The fitters even tidied up my sky cable as it wasn't done well by Sky.
